Default Key Settings: Here is the definition of all CAPBAK/MSW Ver. 3.2 function keys and their default settings.

Keyboard Overlay: The keyboard overlay that corresponds to these settings is included in the CAPBAK/MSW Ver. 3.2 software as a *ps and a *pdf file. You can print this file and photocopy it and paste it to your keyboard for easy reference.

Note About Choosing Function Key Definitions: The default settings given below are known to work correctly on Windows '98 and NT. If you move your settings for CAPBAK/MSW Ver. 3.2 away from the indicated defaults (for example, to prevent conflict with settings used by your application) you need to make sure that the new settings are accepted by your computer. We know, for example, that ALT+SHIFT+F6 does not work correctly on some versions of Windows '98 and NT and there may be other multi-key combinations that may fail.

Additional Note: Some applications on Windows 98/NT may interfere with the ALT+CTRL+F1 hotkey default. In fact, some applications may respond to this hotkey as if only the F1 key were pushed; these applications typically provide user-help with the F1 key. While not specifically incorrect this behavior may be confusing and difficult to use. If the application you are testing uses F1 as a help key you may wish to re-set your hotkey to ALT+CTRL+F11.
